We’re on KVAL! For the record, we produce at least a hundred “dozens” of bottles a month currently, and we like to emphasize that the radiators on the stills are more decorative than useful (and the distillate never touches them) etc etc, but this clip by KVAL is still a lot of fun.

Come see us for yourselves. We didn’t get to talk about Green Geisha enough. We definitely live up to the “High Tech Moonshiner” title. . .

Introducing Green Geisha Wasabi Vodka

After nearly a year in the making, we’re proud to announce the arrival of our Green Geisha, a vodka infusion using pure Wasabi root and spring water from Alpine, Oregon.

Green Geisha is not what you expect. With a sweet start and vegetal body, her punch arrives at the end of the sip. There is none of the horse radish nose burn usually associated with Sushi Wasabi. Pure Wasabi is a different creature altogether.

She mixes beautifully as a martini, or muddled with fresh basil. She’ll definitely spice up a Bloody Mary.

Handmade in Monroe, Oregon, by Dudley and James. $20 a bottle. Oregon order #1065B, and available in any Oregon Liquor Store and at the distillery.

We’re open for tours, sales and tastings every Saturday and Sunday, noon – 5pm.

Fallout from the Washington Decision

Michael Rowley at Rowley’s Whiskey Forge gives a recap on the recent ballot measure to privatize liquor control in Washington. Oregon distilleries selling in Washington have been hugely impacted by this change.
